Safe drinking water for West Bengal as third 2017 SKINPACT Award presented
Arsenic affected communities of West Bengal can look forward to the provision of safe drinking water as the third 2017 SKINPACT Award was presented to the Water Treatment project, affiliated with the Swasthya Bhabna Welfare Organization, that received the Expert Panel Award in the Community Leadership category.
Aimed at providing safe arsenic-free drinking water and purposeful mitigation of Arsenicosis for the villagers of West Bengal, through community action and creating mass awareness, the project will be brought to life with the $10,000 (USD) grant received.
