Skin cancer is preventable through effective education and behavior modification. Sun safety practices that begin early in life and are consistently followed contribute to the prevention of skin cancer. Education is especially critical for young people as they establish sun safe habits. Our goals is to educate middle school aged children on the dangers of tanning beds and the importance of sun safe habits. Our goal is to educate kids to live sun smart and empower them to serve as leaders and educators in promoting sun smart behaviors to their peers and their families.
