Jorge Ocampo-Candiani, MD, University of Nuevo León, Monterrey, Mexico

Dr. Jorge Ocampo-Candiani is the Chairman of the Department of Dermatology, Assistant Professor of Dermatology and Director of Dermatologic Surgery at the University of Nuevo León (UANL). Further to this Dr. Ocampo-Candiani is the President of the Ibero Latin American College of Dermatology (CILAD) and also serves on the Board of the International League of Dermatological Societies (ILDS). He has authored more than 131 articles in national and international journals and is a lecturer in 30 countries around the World.

 
 
Manuel del Solar, MD, University of Peruana Cayetano Heredia, Perú

Dr Manuel del Solar is the Head of the Dermatology Service at the Cayetano Heredia Hospital. He is also a Professor of Dermatology at the University of Peruana Cayetano Heredia’s School of Medicine and the Medical Director of the Dermatological Institute of Solderma in Peru. Dr del Solar is affiliated to a number of professional organisations. He is an International Affairs Committee Member of the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) and serves on the boards of the Institute of Tropical Medicine Alexander Von Humboldt and the Collegio Ibero-Latino-Americano de Dermatologia (CILAD). He has also authored and co-authored multiple dermatological publications in both books and medical journals.

 

Patricia Chang , MD, University of Nuevo León, Monterrey, Mexico

Dr. Patricia Chang is currently Director of Medical Education and Deputy Delegate of the Ibero Latin American College of Dermatology (CILAD) for Central America and the Caribbean. She is President of the Guatemalan Association of Dermatology and Director of the CILADs Medical Assistance and Educational Program. She is currently professor and honorary chairperson at the Postgraduate School of Internal Medicine of the Guatemalan Hospital of General Diseases (IGSS). Her areas of specialty are ungual diseases, skin cancer and AIDS in dermatology. She is also the author of over 240 publications in dermatology journals and magazines.

 

Silvio Alencar Marques, Universidade Estadual Paulista ( UNESP ), Brazil

Dr. Silvio Alencar Marques is Professor of Dermatology at the Botucatu Medical School, Universidade Estadual Paulista (UNESP) Julio de Mesquita Filho since 2011. He is a member of the body of lecturers and supervisors of the Graduate Program in Pathology from the same institution . He is a specialist in dermatology and leprosy, with a strong interest in Medical Education . His major areas of research are in medical mycology, with emphasis on paracoccidioidomycosis, psoriasis, clinical epidemiology and immunology. Dr. Alencar Marques holds a Ph.D. in Dermatology from the Federal University of São Paulo and from Indiana University.

 

Margarita Larralde de Luna, University of Buenos Aires, Argentina

Dr. Margarita Larralde de Luna specialized in Pediatric Dermatology at the Ramos Mejia Hospital. She is head of the German Dermatology Hospital, with a practice dedicated to general dermatology and aesthetics. She is the author of Pediatric Dermatology, Photographic Atlas of Pediatric Dermatology and several chapters of international books. She has held various officer roles at the Argentinian Society of Dermatology, and eventually became president. She has chaired the Latin American Society of Pediatric Dermatology and is in charge of institutional and international relations. She is director and also a professor at the Department of Dermatology of the University of Buenos Aires.
